Welcome to the sixth issue of our newsletter! We received lots of feedback on the multilingual format of Issue 5 and decided that the format needed some refining. Here’s what we’re trying this time around. The newsletter will contain news. It will also contain links to language-specific information and activities that we’ll post on our website and change every two weeks. This way, people can access fun activities for the languages they want without having to sift through content on languages they’re not studying. Please write to me with any questions or comments you have about the new format or any other language questions you may have. And, as always, enjoy your language learning adventure!

In past issues, we’ve often featured Culture Clues—interesting cultural information, fun trivia, or authentic recipes. Now it’s your turn! Get online or go to your local library, and write something interesting about a country that speaks the language you’re learning. Then submit whatever you’ve written to me via email.

Depending on the number of entries, I’d like to publish a new Culture Clue for each language. Alas, since we’re fresh out of Power-Glide t-shirts, the only prizes I can offer are publication in the newsletter and the satisfaction of doing something fun and challenging with your new language skills.
