Credit Requirements & Procedures

Students are eligible to receive MIL course credit if the following conditions have been met:

  1. The student has demonstrated content mastery as established by Middlebury Interactive Languages Teacher (MIL) policy. MIL policy states that the student must satisfy the following criteria:
       - Participate in all mid-term and final exams
       - Complete 65% of the total possible points showing on the progress bar
       - Complete course with a passing grade of 65% or higher
  2. Course is successfully completed under the “Course + Credit + Teacher” option. Students cannot receive credit for independent work without teacher evaluation.

Credit Awarded

The following units of credit are offered:
.25 = one semester middle school course
.5 = one semester high school course; one year-long middle school course
1 = one year-long high school course

Requesting your transcript

Send request via e-mail to services@middleburyinteractive.com. The request must include:
A) Name of student (as enrolled)
B) Title of course (e.g., High School Spanish I Semester 2)
C) Mailing address (we recommend your home address)
D) Date of course completion

Note: Transcripts must be requested within 2 years of the student completing the course.

Transcripts will be delivered within two to three weeks of request.
Parents and students, do not open your MIL transcripts if you are going to be sending them to an academic institution. Please note that only sealed transcripts are considered official documents.
